The Workshop will take place on the campus of the University of Bayreuth (Universitätsstr. 30, 95447 Bayreuth, Gemany) in the building NW II (Naturwissenschaften II/natural sciences II), Lecture Hall H17 (Google Maps).

If your home institution participates in the eduroam project, you can access the internet via Eduroam-Wifi from all over the university campus.
BayernWLAN
Alternatively, BayernWLAN ('Bavarian Wifi') is available on the entire university campus, and also in some busses and public places in Bayreuth. BayernWLAN is free of charge, open and unrestricted.

Public Transportation in Bayreuth
- There are two public bus lines that commute regularly between the city center and the university campus: Line 306 to 'Campus' and line 304 to 'Birken-Universität'. Both lines start at the central bus station ('ZOH').
- Additionally, the bus line 316 connects the university campus and the central train station ('Hauptbahnhof').
- Exit the busses at the university bus stop 'Mensa'.
- Bus tickets can be purchased directly from the bus driver or at the ticket counter at the 'ZOH' (central bus station).

Traveling to the city of Bayreuth
Visiting by plane
- The next airport to Bayreuth is Nuremberg with a fair number of Domestic and European connections (for more details, see http://www.airport-nuernberg.de).
- The closest international airports are Frankfurt (www.frankfurt-airport.com) and Munich (www.munich-airport.de) from which you can reach Bayreuth by train.
Visiting by train
- Bayreuth can be reached directly from the larger Deutsche Bahn railway hub Nuremberg ('Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof'). Trains leave Nuremberg main station on an hourly basis; the travel time is approximately 1 hour.
Visiting by car
- Bayreuth can be reached best via the Autobahn A9 (Berlin-Munich). Get off at the exit 'Bayreuth Süd'. Follow the traffic signs towards 'Bayreuth' and 'Universität' (University). You may also consult an online map before your travel.
- Alternatively, Bayreuth can also be reached via the Autobahn A70 (Schweinfurt-Bayreuth). Get off at 'Kulmbach/Neudrossenfeld' and follow the traffic signs towards 'Bayreuth' and 'Universität' (University). For this route it is recommend to consult an online map before your travel.
